Alex went out with his buddy tonight while it was my turn to take care of the kids. Not long after Alex left, Tyler found an old cell phone that we let him use as a toy. As we sat down to dinner Tyler picked up the phone and started pressing buttons. He said, "I'm texting someone. I'm going to text Daddy!"

Later he would pretend to also talk on the phone. He'd hold up the phone and instruct me to say goodbye to Oma (what I do to him when we're ending a phone call). Too cute.
