I started this blog in July 2006 as a great way to document my pregnancy and share information about the pending birth of our first child with our friends and family. Now that Tyler and his baby sister, Jenna, have arrived it serves to record the benchmarks and daily progress of their lives.

happy birthday luca
The kids had a blast at Pump It Up. I was also surprised by how fast Jenna took to the obstacles. I had to follow her through to push her up to a few of the barriers which were meant for taller kids, but almost nothing stopped her. Look out Tyler and Luca!

loving the kriskos
Before saying goodbye to his cousins, Tyler picked some tomatoes from Uncle Hugh's garden. It was a great visit!

visiting the sheelys
Reunions are especially fun when they are with good friends. We don't get to see the Sheelys very often, but we soak up every moment when we get the chance. And we also soaked in the water in their pool. So fun!

singing beach
To finish off a great day, the Campbells and Kriskos met up with Auntie Deb and Intern Perrin after their workday for dinner on the beach. We all enjoyed our subs, including the seagull who took Andrew's right from his hand. We also waded in the water, checked out the boulders on the north end, and the cousins played in the sand.
hammond castle
On our day of unexpected adventures, we stumbled upon a castle! We loved touring around the outside especially with the beautiful views!
manchester fire and rescue
This day we headed out with no agenda. We were going to head up the coast and see what there was to see. While I ran into a store, Alex and the kids were going to turn the car around. Only they didn't come back right away. I got a text telling me to take my time in the store. Why?
Well, they spotted a large group of kids at the local fire station. Alex soon realized as the kids started loading themselves onto a school bus that it was a class trip about to leave rather than an open house. But Tyler insisted that they just ask to see if he and Jenna could check things out too. Of course, said Fireman Bob. They got a private tour and I don't think they could have been happier. While Tyler got to try on a fireman's jacket, Jenna impressed Bob by her insistence on wearing a seatbelt!

children's museum
Most of the Kriskos joined us for a day in the city at the children's museum, Mecca for the kids! The floor to ceiling (three stories!) climbing apparatus was incredible.
